I'm Possible

I asked - God – higher self – universe – pick one – they’re all the same - to take away my perceived faults and bad habits. The answer was No. “It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.”

I asked - God – higher self – universe – pick one – they’re all the same - to make my sick child whole. The answer was No. “His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.”

I asked - God – higher self – universe – pick one – they’re all the same - to grant me patience. The answer was No. “Patience is a byproduct of challenges; it isn't granted, it is learned.”

I asked - God – higher self – universe – pick one – they’re all the same - to give me happiness. The answer was No. “I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.”

I asked - God – higher self – universe – pick one – they’re all the same - to spare me pain. The answer was No. “Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.”

I asked - God – higher self – universe – pick one – they’re all the same - to make my spirit grow. The answer was No. “You must grow on your own! But I will prune you to make you fruitful.”

I asked - God – higher self – universe – pick one – they’re all the same - for all things that I might enjoy life. The answer was No. “I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.”

I ask - God – higher self – universe – pick one – they’re all the same - to help me love others, as much as He loves me. The answer? “Ah ha – now you actually get it right?” hehe

I asked - God – higher self – universe – pick one – they’re all the same – for the man I love to love me back the same way. The answer was really? “You want to be loved by someone who doesn’t really know WHY they love you? He already loves you the same way back. See how. And then see how you do not love him for him – you only love him for who YOU think he is. Then just love him as he is. It is impossible to ignore an open full true heart.”

Even that word IMPOSSIBLE says I'M POSSIBLE! I'M POSSIBLE! So when everything feels like it is too much and the wall is too high to climb over and too thick to push through, just remember how POSSIBLE you actually are. And just go for it!
