Pattern

We each have a pattern where we seek to resolve tension between what we want and what we perceive we have by bringing other people into our story.

The telling of the tale gives us the opportunity to create characters and colours which in turn influence the person brought in to then provide energy in the form of a supportive emotion which in turn feeds us and gives us temporary relief.

It doesn't benefit us long term.

It is like taking a Panadol where the liver is irritated and this takes the focus off the physical pain for a moment to provide what we believe is relief when it is simply toxic distraction. We all do this as it is a necessary Human Behaviour strategy in specific circumstances.

However it doesn't help it only prolongs the agony. The best way to assist is to NOT resolve the tension and simply feel it instead of trying to make it go away.

By your actions and perceptions you have created this tension for a reason. A very sound reason. Tension forms a critical part of the creative process. Without it there is no movement no energy. Tension is life itself with all it's pushing and pulling.

To make a decision in times when you simply cannot find the mental thread that will pull you out of the abyss the best strategy is to go to nature. It doesn't resolve tension. When you open yourself up to your very own nature in the mirror if the world around you, it flows through you and you get the opportunity to reconnect to your own wisdom.

Go outside.
Sit quietly with a notebook or your phone.
Ask your heart what it wants and just write everything down.

Most of it in the beginning with be a detox of characters that you have identified with in your various stories. Honour them and note it all down. Then make the declaration to yourself that you surrender to nature and you seek guidance from your own wisdom.

And let the words flow through you........
